I am Dr. Rakesh Shukla, a trained forester-cum-wildlife manager and wildlife scientist. I retired as a Research Officer from Kanha Tiger Reserve. While this profession has been my bread and butter for nearly 40 years, I have also endeavoured to sustain a broad range of intellectual interests through reading, listening, and watching. These interests include politics, society, Hindi and English fiction and non-fiction, cinema, and, of course, social interaction.
